Three autoclaves from Coesfeld, Germany to Craiova, Romania

In May 2007, HBH Logistics commissioned to transport three autoclaves from Coesfeld, Germany to Craiova, Romania.
The autoclaves were required to harden limestone bricks and other components for the aviation industry.

The vast dimensions of the autoclaves posed a challenge. Each autoclave was 41.5 x 3.75 x 3.56 metrers in size and weighed 90.000 kg. HBH Logistics organised doort-to-door transport by barge to Drobeta-Turnu Severin, with onward carriage to the construction site in Craiova. 
Laying of the foundations was handled by HBH Logistics' local partner.  

The customer was informed of the location of their goods at all points along the route. Organisation prior to and during the project took place to the complete satisfaction of both HBH Logistics and the customer.
